Important notice: This software is in a beta-stage (test version) and MUST NOT be used for patient care! It is only suitable for academic or research (theoretic) purposes.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – You must read this in order to use VSCO.NET!
Thank you that you want to use VSCO.NET and the included software as ChemoBOS or OncoTools. You will quickly learn that the software supports you in your daily routine of preparing chemotherapy schedules. However, we have to ask you to read and agree with the following text/declaration.
It is impossible for us to exclude errors made by the programs (software) on the VSCO.NET-pages or by the computer on which the browser runs. Despite great care in programming, data entry, analyisis and interpretation, errors can result. Even the chemotherapy protocols that are delivered by VSCO.NET can contain errors that can actually lead to over- or underdosage or even death of patients!
ALL RESULTS OF THIS SOFTWARE (NAMELY CHEMOTHERAPY SCHEDULES, TUMOR STAGES, AND OTHER RESULTS FROM VSCO.NET) HAVE TO BE PERSONALLY CHECKED AND ACKNOWLEDGED BY A PHYSICIAN, WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RESPECTIVE PATIENT!
By today´s technical standard, it is impossible to create computer software that is 100% error free in all combinations of hard- and software. Therefore VSCO.NET cannot guarantee that the software fulfills all needs and runs error-free. Also, VSCO.NET cannot be held responsible for the liability of any (personal / technical / etc.) damages that the software/hardware causes directly or indirectly. As you know, the treating physician is fully responsible for the diagnosis and therapy of his/her patients. The treating physician is responsible for therapy errors that result from reading medical literature with printing errors (and not the publisher). This should apply to the new media as software or internet. As there are no precedent cases, yet, we exclude any liabilty, when you digitally sign the declaration/contract on the next page after carefully reading it.
